I am so happy to finally see the election campaign over! It seemed to last forever! Barack Obama wasn't my choice, but I do like him and his family. I certainly hope he really does take us in a new and better direction.
I used the new Crafty Secrets Snow Bunnies set for this card! What cute images! I stamped the momma bunny and her little one in Palette Burnt Umber on a scrap piece of the Cosmo Cricket paper from my last card. I really like the distressed look of that paper. I colored them in my Copics and added some Fun Flock on the little hats at the end of the bunny ears. The background is from Crafty Secrets Radiant Paper Pad. I ran a piece of pink through the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. I used a Quickie Glue Pen on each of the snowflakes and on the snow at the base of the bunnies then sprinkled Hero Arts ultra fine glitter over it just for some sparkle. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with the Nestabilities oval die and then cut scalloped bases and mounted them both with dimensionals. On the sentiment I added a couple of Dew Drops and a brad on the main image. A cute card that uses some different colors other than pastels. This image would look cute no matter how you decided to mat and embellish it.
Another gorgeous Fall day here...even have windows open! I know it won't last much longer but will sure enjoy it while it's here.
