Old World Santa Time
I love these Old World Santa images from Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Seasonal Booklet. I used up more Christmas paper scraps (YEAH!) and a partial shimmery white sheet that I embossed. The felt rick rack I purchased a few years ago from Anna's store. I love it! The holly is from Martha Stewart's new Christmas line at Michaels. It was pretty plain so I glittered up the berries with Stickles and used a metallic pen on the veins on the leaves. The sentiment is one of my favorite rub ons.
Here is another card with another image from the CS Booklet. I mounted it on velvet paper and used up more scraps! Again, the pine sprig and pinecones are MS's and had to glitter them up. It's amazing how Plain Jane's can be so pretty with just a bit of glitz! I used another rub on...fortunately I have a lot of those to use up.
Today was my DDIL and DH's birthdays. DH had to work, so I took a cake from the French Confection and her presents over this afternoon. It was so nice out...cold but sunny! She wanted a Wii Fit, so that's what we got her and boy was she excited.

I think I want one of those wii fits too! they are soooo cool! did you try it out with her??

Lovely! And good for you on using up scraps. That's something I need to do before I drown in them.
